| Frequently
Asked Questions
At The Spa Clinic, we offer our guests
a relaxing experience that is both calming
and rejuvenating. One of the key elements
to good health is a reduction in stress.
To help you feel more at ease and avoid
any worry about the spa experience, we offer
you the answers to some of the more frequently
asked questions. We want you to think of
The Spa Clinic as a peaceful oasis.
How early should I arrive?
At least 15 minutes before your appointment.
This will give you more time to settle in
and complete all necessary forms. To ensure
that The Spa Clinic clients receive prompt
care without delays, treatments begin and
end on schedule.
Do I have to take all my clothes
off?
Not necessarily. Depending on the type of
service you will receive, there may not
be a need to disrobe. Many of the minor
cosmetic surgeries will be performed without
having to disrobe. Our doctors and therapists
respect your privacy and want you to feel
comfortable. Our massage therapists are
trained in special draping techniques that
reveal only the part of the body they are
working on. Our terry robes, slippers and
towels are all laundered daily and guaranteed
hygienic.
What if I have a physical problem?
Concerns relating to pregnancy, impaired
mobility, allergies, recent surgeries or
medical conditions should be discussed with
your physician. Pregnant women may want
to avoid deep pressure. Please discuss any
concerns you may have with one of our therapists
prior to your visit.
What if I do not feel comfortable?
If, at any time during your treatment, you
do not feel physically comfortable with
the temperature, pressure or technique being
used, please do not hesitate to advise your
doctor or therapist who will not be offended
and will appreciate the ability to serve
you better. Your absolute comfort is our
primary concern. Do not feel obligated to
make conversation but please do not hesitate
to let the physician or therapist know if
you have any special needs or preferences.
Can I use my cellular phone in
the Spa?
The privacy and tranquility of our guests
is vital at The Spa Clinic. We respectfully
request that cellular phones and pagers
be turned off. It is for your peace of mind
as well as those around you. Should you
need to make a phone call, however, a telephone
is available in the reception area, the
lounge, and in The Café.
What if I am running late?
If you know that you will be late, please
try to phone us. We will try to reschedule
your appointment to accommodate you. If
our schedule prevents us from rescheduling,
your treatment will “start”
as originally scheduled.
Can I cancel at any time?
Please refer to our Cancellation
Policy.
Is it customary to tip?
In appreciation to the staff for outstanding
service, gratuities may be given at your
discretion. Please do not feel obligated
to tip.
Is there a minimum age?
Spa guests must be 16 years of age or older.
Minors having treatments must be accompanied
by a parent or have a waiver signed by a
parent.
Can I bring my child(ren)?
As a courtesy to our guests, we ask that
children not be brought to the Spa unless
they have a scheduled appointment.
